It felt like he was repeating what Cid did to him when they were supposed to fight Sorceress Edea, but there was no way he was letting Rinoa go anywhere alone, especially when they didn't know if Esthar have given up on the idea of freezing her in space.
He understood Rinoa's concern though. She needed to know what she was capable of and while Balamb Garden was accepting of her, it wasn't the best place for practicing the extent of real magic. So he didn't give it much thought, he agreed to leave with her immediately. Besides, it'd give Cid something to do. He was good at keeping Balamb running if nothing else.
With a bag slung over his shoulder and dressed in a non-official combat wear, he turned to Rinoa with a small reassuring smile, shrugging in the direction of their path ahead.
